TGL, the simulator golf league co-founded by Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy, returns this winter for its third season after a successful inaugural campaign that proved the concept and a second season that added new holes, tweaked gameplay and built momentum. A new team, Motor City GC, will join as the league's seventh franchise. On Tuesday, TGL announced complete rosters for its third season, with changes including five players per team (up from four) though only three will play each match at the SoFi Center in Florida. Several big names have exited while new players have joined, and TGL completed its first trade on Monday. The league returns on Dec. 27. Atlanta Drive: Lucas Glover, who helped Atlanta win the inaugural SoFi Cup, will not participate in Year 3. Gotterup, a three-time PGA Tour winner in 2026 and Presidents Cup star, was an alternate last season but will be full-time. Brennan, winner of the Wyndham Championship and Baycurrent Classic, joins as the fifth member. Bay Golf Club: Shane Lowry was traded to Boston Common Golf for the fourth pick in TGL's roster formation process (a draft) and a future pick. Bay added reigning Champion Golfer of the Year Ryan Fox and 19-year-old Blades Brown, who earned his PGA Tour card via the Korn Ferry Tour. Boston Common Golf: Trading for Lowry was Boston's big addition. Adam Scott, who played for Boston the first two seasons, will not participate in Season 3. Thorbjornsen, winner of the Rocket Classic, was an alternate last year and will be full-time. Jupiter Links: Woods spent most of the season coaching while recovering from surgeries on his ruptured Achilles tendon and back, returning for the TGL Finals where Jupiter Links lost to Los Angeles Golf Club. That was Woods' only competitive stint in 2026 after he stepped away following his DUI arrest in March. As co-founder, he will be part of TGL Season 3.
